Frequently asked questions, clearly answered.

You can find the most important points here. It is important that we can set up our equipment trolley, which we have specially designed for mobile use, either at the head or at the foot. We have everything that is needed! A lift is an advantage if your practice is not located on the ground floor.

We bring our own oxygen bottles. If you have a small central supply unit, we can use that too. In principle, however, we are absolutely autonomous in terms of materials and personnel.

That depends on our bookings. There are procedures that we can possibly schedule in the same week. It is usually advantageous to make an appointment as early as possible in advance. The aim is to also obtain clarification for older patients before the operation, so that we can approve them for the planned procedure from the point of view of performing anaesthesia. If necessary, it may be necessary to carry out further clarifications with your general practitioner before the operation.

The services are invoiced in accordance with the Tarmed rates.

For self-payers, we have a time-dependent table of costs that we will be happy to present to you during an initial consultation.

We care for the patients until all discharge criteria according to SGAR guidelines have been fulfilled and the patients can be cared for by the practice team. You can reach us by telephone.

We will remain available for you and the patients in the first 24 hours after the procedure, especially in connection with post-operative problems relating to the anaesthesia service.

Usually only ASA 3 patients, depending on possible comorbidities. We will discuss borderline cases with you and the patient in advance.

Basically, we perform both local and general anaesthesia. We use TIVA (total intravenous anaesthesia) for general anaesthesia and do not use inhalation anaesthetics in the outpatient/mobile sector. Sedoanalgesia with a so-called “stand-by” via our teams is also possible if required.

We generally limit the anaesthesia or treatment time to approximately 6 to 7 hours. This period of time can vary depending on the patient’s state of health and age.

Yes, we always have a defibrillator with us in our mobile equipment.
